10th Board Question paper Leak in Assam; GSc Test Cancelled

Guwahati: The general science question paper of the Class 10 state board exam was leaked in Assam and the authorities had to cancel the examination, the Assam government declared on Monday.

According to Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, a police case was filed regarding this question leak incident and the CID has been ordered to probe.

“Last night, the Secondary Education Board, Assam (SEBA), got some clue that today’s paper (general science) has been leaked. Accordingly, the exam was cancelled. The next date will be announced in due course of time,” Pegu told media in Assam. A detailed investigation will reveal the culprits behind this, he said.

But he denied the involvement any teacher in the question leak. “There is no question of involvement of teachers. The papers are kept at police stations and taken to examination centers only on the morning of the test day,” the minister said.
