Wife Attacks Man For Refusing To Get Mobile Phone, Critical

Bolangir: A woman allegedly attacked his husband after he refused to give her a mobile phone. The incident was reported from Keserkela village under Pukutla police station limits in Odisha’s Bolangir district.

According to reports, the accused identified as Eshwari Kumari has been demanding a mobile phone from her husband Ganeshwar Suna for some time now.  However, he failed to fulfill her demand.

On Sunday, an altercation ensued between the couple following the same matter. Irked over the matter,  Eshwari attacked her husband with a sharp weapon while he was asleep at night. Later, Eshwari fled the house along with her four-year-old daughter.

On hearing scream of Ganesh, the villagers reached the spot and rushed him to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in critical condition.
