2 Dead, 5 Injured as Teenager Gunman Shoots at Crowd in US High School

Two persons died and at least five others were injured when a young gunman opened fire in a park in Richmond, Virginia, on Tuesday. The crowd consisted of high school graduates and their families, who were coming out of a theater where a graduation ceremony had just concluded.

The 19-year-old assailant was arrested by police. This shooting occurred outside the Altria Theater on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University. The deceased included men aged 18 and 36 years.

In addition, a 9-year-old girl was struck by a car in the chaos that ensued, and multiple other people were injured in falls or suffered from anxiety.
