2 Killed, Over 30 Injured as Hyva Hits Bus in Odisha’s Sundargarh Dist

Sundargarh: Two were killed and over 30 were injured after a truck hit the bus they were travelling at Chandiposh in Odisha’s Sundargarh district.

The deceased were identified as Satya Prakash Nayak of Rourkela and a 12-year-old girl.

According to reports, the bus was heading towards Rourkela from Bhubaneswar. The bus was parked near a dhaba when a speeding truck hit it at around 4 AM in the morning.

The injured were initially rushed to the Rourkela Government Hospital and later shifted to Jaiprakash Hospital here as their condition deteriorated.

On being informed, police reached the spot and started to investigate the matter.
