2 Killed in Road Mishap in Odisha’s Rayagada

Rayagada: Two persons were killed after a van hit the motorcycle they were riding in Odisha’s Rayagada district.

The deceased were identified as Bulu Beniya and Manoj Beniya of Rampur village in Karlakana panchayat under Kolnara block of Rayagada. The two are said to be brothers.

According to reports, the accident happened when the duo was returning home after finishing some work at 4 pm. On the way, the speeding pickup van hit the bike. Bulu and Manoj reportedly died on the spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the bodies and sent it for autopsy. They also seized the pickup van.
