2 Terrorists Killed in Encounter in J&K’s Kupwara

Srinagar: Two terrorists were slain during an encounter with security forces in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. The exchange of fire occurred near the Pichnad Machil area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir, said police sources. The search operation is still going on.

In a tweet, Kashmir Police Zone said that the army and police are on the job. “Kupwara Encounter Update: 02 terrorists killed. Search operation still going on. Further details shall follow,” the police tweeted. The identity and group affiliation of the slain terrorists were being ascertained.
