2 Women Beaten, Paraded Half-Naked in West Bengal

Kolkata: Two women were allegedly beaten and paraded half-naked in West Bengal’s Malda. A video clip of the incident is making rounds on social media.

As per reports, this incident occurred three to four days back in Malda’s Pakuahat. Both women were suspected to be thieves. The locals beat them up and paraded both half-naked in the marketplace.

In the video clip, a group f women were seen to be assaulting the two accused women. But the victims filed no complaint with the West Bengal Police.

According to the West Bengal Police, two to three days back these two women were caught on suspicion of theft by local traders. Female traders of the area thrashed the duo. Later both escaped without lodging any complaints. The traders also did not prefer to file any complaint against these two women.
