3-Member Panel To Probe Alleged Rape by Doctor At SCB Medical College Hospital

Bhubaneswar: A three-member committee has been formed by the Odisha Health Department to investigate the alleged rape of two women patients by a resident doctor at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack district on Tuesday. State Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling informed this to media. Police had arrested a senior resident doctor of the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack on Wednesday on charges of raping two patients on the pretext of conducting ECG test.

The accused resident doctor has been identified as Dilbag Singh Thakur from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
