30 Killed in Bus-Car Accident in Pakistan

At least 30 passengers died and 15 others were injured when a passenger bus and a car collided with each other and fell into a deep ravine on the Karakoram Highway in the Kohistan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan on Tuesday.

The passenger bus was on its way to Rawalpindi from Gilgit. It had a head-on collision with a car coming from the opposite side, reported Geo News.

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif has also expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in a bus accident.

On January 29, a passenger bus plunged into the ravine in Pakistan’s Balochistan killing 41 people. This bus carrying 48 passengers was travelling from Quetta to Karachi, reported the Dawn report. The vehicle crashed into the pillar of a bridge near Lasbela and fell into a ravine and caught fire.
