30 Stray Dogs Shot Dead in Bihar; They had allegedly Killed Humans

Patna: At least 30 stray dogs were shot dead by a team of shooters in Bihar’s Begusarai district. According to sources, the government had ordered their killing.

Begusarai district administration and Forest and Environment Department in Patna had taken this decision to kill these stray dogs to end their menace. These dogs had allegedly killed some humans. Locals had started to call them man-eating dogs in Begusarai.

According to sources, a team of shooters from Patna reached Begusarai to kill these stray canines. They killed 16 stray dogs on Tuesday and 14 dogs on Wednesday.

Locals, who were worried about this dog menace helped the shooters to track down and kill the stray dogs.

It was alleged that in 2022, these dogs had attacked and killed nearly 10 people. So, the administration had to take drastic action and ordered to kill these violent stray dogs.

According to reports, these dogs generally attacked women.
