3rd Earthquake Hits Nicobar Islands in a Single Day

Nicobar Islands: Nicobar Islands felt tremors for the third time in a single day. An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 on the Richter Scale hit the Nicobar Islands.

According to the National Center for Seismology information, the earthquake was experienced at 05:47 PM on Sunday.

Earlier, two earthquakes of magnitude 5.3 and 4.1 on the Richter Scale hit the Nicobar Islands.

As per the data, the epicenter of the quake was about 37 km below ground.

No casualties or damages have been reported.
