4 Elephants Electrocuted To Death In Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam

Srikakulam: At least four elephants were electrocuted to death in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district in the wee hours of Friday.

The incident was reported from Katragedda village in Bhamini Mandal in Srikakulam district.

Worth mentioning that earlier on March 7 Three elephants died due to electrocution after coming into contact with an electric fence.

In a separate incident, a male elephant died after coming into contact with a low-lying, high-tension wire belonging to the Tamil Nadu power board while attempting to cross a bund.
