65-Yr-Old Man Murders 60-Yr-Old in Khordha District

Khordha: A person was stabbed to death at Nairi village under Nachuni police outpost in Khordha district on Friday. The deceased as well as the murder accused were in their 60s. According to police sources, a tussle over a patch of poultry farmland led to this murder.

The deceased Sarathi Nayak (60) was having a poultry farm in the village. He was having a tussle with Kedar Nayak (65) of the same village regarding ownership of this patch of land.

An altercation between them over the past dispute had resulted in the violent incident. In a rage, Kedar stabbed Sarathi with a sharp weapon.

Injured Sarathi was immediately shifted to Balugaon hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Based on the complaint lodged by the son of the deceased, police have started an investigation and search operation to nab the accused.
