After AAP, Uddhav’s Sena to Support Uniform Civil Code: Reports

New Delhi: Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) will support central government’s bill for a Uniform Civil Code (UCC), reported India Today. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said his party always wanted to have a UCC but the final decision will be made after the draft has been made.

UBT Sena leader Anand Dubey declared that his party will support the bill in the parliament.

Another anti-BJP opposition party, the AAP led by Aravind Kejriwal has also announced to support the Uniform Civil Code. The NCP is treading the middle path by saying it “neither supports nor opposes” the UCC. As per reports, the central government may table a bill on implementing a Uniform Civil Code in the monsoon session of Parliament.
