PSG Boss Christophe Galtier & Son Arrested Over Discrimination Allegations

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) manager, Christophe Galtier, and his son, John Valovic-Galtier, have been taken into police custody in Nice following allegations of discrimination during Galtier’s time as coach of OGC Nice.

The investigation was initiated after a leaked email revealed that Galtier made racist comments about Black and Muslim players. It is also alleged that Galtier prevented Muslim players from observing Ramadan and rejected a signing based on the player’s religion.

Galtier has denied these accusations and expressed his shock at the claims, stating that he will take legal action against those who have defamed him. In a news conference, he emphasized his background growing up in diverse housing estates and his values of respecting others regardless of their origin, colour, or religion.

As of now, PSG has not released any official statement regarding the arrest. Galtier’s tenure as PSG manager is expected to end this summer.
