Alert! Bank Strike on November 19 May Affect ATM And Other Banking Services

Banking services are expected to be disrupted throughout the country on November 19 because of a strike call given by All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA).

Due to this bank strike on a Saturday, some ATM’s may be short of cash on the following Sunday and Monday. So, you must prefer to make your cash withdrawals on November 18. One should also complete needed bank-related work on that day.

Usually, second and fourth Saturdays are bank holidays. In November all commercial and public sector banks in India will remain closed on the third Saturday because of this strike by bank employees.

This one-day bank strike is being organised by the AIBEA to protest against the alleged rise in attacks on trade unions, rights, jobs, and job security, violation of Bipartite settlement & i.D. Act, harassment of bank employees by transfers in violation of settlements, denial of wage revision in CSB Bank.
