AR Rahman Dedicates Song for Legendary Pele

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman paid a musical tribute to soccer legend Pele. This Brazilian football icon passed away on Thursday at the age of 82.

Rahman tweeted his music video tribute, ‘Ginga’. He composed this in 2016 for the biographical film ‘Pele: Birth of a legend’.

“Rest in peace legend #pele. I Dedicate this song… honouring your legacy,” AR Rahman wrote on Twitter.

Pele, the only footballer in history to win three FIFA World Cups, was battling colon cancer, for which he was undergoing chemotherapy.
