Bhagwant Mann’s daughter gets threat call from Amritpal Singh’s Khalistani supporters in US

New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s daughter, Seerat Kaur, who lives in the US, allegedly received threat calls from pro-Khalistan supporters of fugitive Amritpal Singh.

Seerat Kaur Mann is the Punjab CM’s daughter from his first marriage. Mann’s daughter Seerat, her brother Dilshan and their mother Indrapreet now live in Seattle, US.

Mann’s daughter Seerat Kaur Mann, who lives in the US, was allegedly called up and verbally abused by pro-Khalisan elements, a Patiala-based lawyer has claimed.

Advocate Harmeet Brar in a Facebook post claimed that pro-Khalistan elements and other such groups were planning to gherao and harass the chief minister’s children in the US, media reports claimed.

The lawyer asked, “if threatening and abusing children will get you Khalistan?”.

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal on Friday requested the Indian Embassy in the United States to ensure the safety of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s daughter who reportedly received threat calls from pro-Khalistan elements.
