Bodies of Elderly Couple Found on Kantabanji-Turekela railway Track

Bhubaneswar: The bodies of an elderly couple were discovered on the Kantabanji Turekela railway track on Tuesday. The Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the bodies of the couple.

The deceased were Lakhmidhar Rana and his wife Hira Rana from Jalapankel village under the Lathor police station limits.

According to reports, the couple had left their home following a tussle with their son and daughter-in-law.

Initial investigation hinted that it was a case of suicide due to a family dispute, police sources said.

The personnel of the GRP have seized the bodies and sent them for postmortem.
