Bomb Alert in Google’s Pune Office; Accused behind Hoax Call Nabbed from Hyderabad

Mumbai: A miscreant called up Google’s Mumbai office stating that a bomb was planted at its Pune office. Google’s Pune office was immediately put on alert following this threat call. Police investigation proved that it was a hoax call.

Investigating police officials managed to track down the mischievous caller. A man in Hyderabad had made this call under the influence of alcohol. He was traced down and apprehended in Hyderabad.

Google’s Pune office is located on the 11th floor of a multi-storey commercial building Mundhwa area. A case regarding this threatening prank call was registered at Mumbai’s BKC police station and a probe is currently underway. The arrested caller will also be interrogated by Mumbai police.
