Bus falls down 500 meters: 32 dead

Dehradun: Fatal accident took place in Kotdwar district of Uttarakhand. On Tuesday night, a passenger bus fell into a 500-meter-deep gorge. 32 people died and 20 people were injured. SDRF and NDRF teams reached the spot and carried out rescue operations and shifted the injured to the hospital.

It is to be noted that while the bus was going from Laldhang in Haridwar district to Bironkhal block in Pauri district, it lost its weight and fell down the gorge. It is said that there were 55 passengers on the bus.
