Passenger Bus Overturns In Keonjhar, At least 10 Injured

Keonjhar: At least 10 people sustained injuries when a passenger bus overturned on NH-49 in Telkoi block of Odisha’s Keonjhar district. The incident took place at around 8 am today near Kunwar village within Kanjipani police limits.

According to sources, today earlier when the bus heading towards Keonjhar when a person riding a bicycle suddenly came in front of the vehicle. In order to save the person in the cycle, the driver suddenly turned the steering wheel to avert a mishap, he lost control and the bus toppled.

Reportedly, around 50 passengers were inside the bus when the accident occurred. Over ten of them were injured. They were immediately rushed to the nearest Community Health Center (CHC) for treatment.

After receiving information, police reached the spot and started investigation.
