Chenna Poda Dibasa Today! Know More About This Sweet Dish

Bhubaneswar: Chhena Poda is one of the most popular sweet dishes of Odisha. Chhena Poda which means Baked Cheese and is made of well-kneaded homemade fresh cheese (chhena), and sugar. It is said to be that Chhena Poda is the favourite sweet of Lord Jagannath. On April 11 Odisha celebrates the dessert as a tribute to its creator on his birth anniversary.

The dish was featured in the culture-centric television channel, EPIC, in its Raja, Rasoi Aur Anya Kahaniyaan series that chronicles the discovery of many dishes of India and their history, hosted by celebrity chef Ranveer Brar, in 2018.
