4 Killed 18 Injured in Bomb Blast in Pakistan’s Balochistan

The explosion of a powerful bomb near a police vehicle in a busy marketplace in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province on Monday led to death of at least four persons. Around 18 others were also seriously injured in this blast caused by a bomb planted by some unidentified terrorists.

This powerful blast occurred near a parked police vehicle next to Qandhari Bazar on Shahrah-e-Iqbal in Quetta, reported the Dawn newspaper of Pakistan. Quoting police sources, the newspaper added that the target of the blast was a police vehicle. The explosives were planted in a motorcycle.

The injured in this terrorist attack included women and children.

Two policemen were among the four persons killed in the explosion. At least 18 people were also injured in the blast. Several cars and bikes in the vicinity of the blast were damaged.
