Chinmayi Sahu Death Case: Police Interrogates Over 26 People Including Students

Sambalpur: Burla police have reportedly questioned over 26 persons including some students in connection with the death of BTech graduate Chinmayi Sahu, a student of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla of Odisha.

According to reports, police interrogated the 26 persons including some students of the University and the dhaba owner, where Chinmayee had her food, at Burla police station.

For unversed, Chinmayi was reported to have jumped off the power channel bridge on Tuesday night after attending the convocation ceremony. Her body was recovered on Wednesday. The university authorities had lodged a missing complaint at Sambalpur police station.

Her family members alleged that there were bruises and strangulation marks on her throat. Her body also bears bruises and injury marks, her mother alleged.
