COVID Test Compulsory for Arrivals from China & 4 Other Countries

New Delhi: As a precautionary measure to check COVID-19 upsurge in the country, the Indian Health Ministry has ordered that international arrivals from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand will have to compulsorily present RT-PCR test results.
Any passenger arriving in India from these countries will be quarantined if found to be symptomatic or tests positive for COVID-19 announced Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Saturday.
It will be mandatory for passengers from the above countries to declare their present health status on the Air Suvidha form.

India reported 201 new coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours.

But COVID positive cases are rising rapidly in China and several other countries in the world.
