Delhi High Court Denies Bail to Manish Sisodia

New Delhi: Delhi High Court on Monday rejected the bail plea of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia in a case related to alleged irregularities in the now-shelved Delhi excise policy.

The court remarked that Sisodia is “not entitled to bail at this stage.”

Delhi High Court rejected the bail pleas of Abhishek Boinpally, Benoy Babu and Vijay Nair, the co-accused of Sishodia in the money laundering case filed by the ED.

Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 in relation to the alleged irregularities in the now-shelved Delhi excise policy. On March 9, the ED arrested Manish Sisodia in the same case.

The Delhi excise policy implemented by the AAP government in November 2021 was scrapped in September 2022.
