Drugs Worth Thousands of Crores Seized in Biggest Haul by NCB

New Delhi: In its biggest-ever drug seizure, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday seized a huge amount of party drug LSD on Tuesday. The NCB sleuths busted a nationwide dark-net-based drug syndicate. Several LSD smugglers were arrested.

In May the Indian Navy and the NCB seized 2,525 kg of methamphetamine worth Rs 25,000 crores from a boat along the coast of Kerala.

The seized drugs had originated from the Chabahar port in Iran. But its original source was Pakistan. This special operation code-named Operation Samudragupta was launched in February 2022. Through it, more than 4,000 kg of drugs have been seized so far.
