Campbell Bay (Andaman & Nicobar Island): An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter Scale hit the Campbell Bay of Andaman and Nicobar Island.
According to the National Center for Seismology information, the earthquake was experienced at 08:51 AM on Thursday.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, the National Centre for Seismology stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on 13-04-2023, 08:51:26 IST, Lat: 8.94 & Long: 94.28, Depth: 60 Km, Location: 218km N of Campbell Bay, Andaman and Nicobar island.”

As per the data, the epicenter of the quake was about 60 km below ground.
No tsunami alert has been issued yet.
