An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 on the Richter Scale hit the Northern Malucca Sea, a part of the Pacific Ocean.
According to the National Center for Seismology information, the earthquake was experienced at 03:51 PM on Friday.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, the National Centre for Seismology stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:6.0, Occurred on 21-04-2023, 15:51:18 IST, Lat: 2.77 & Long: 127.08, Depth: 72 Km, Location: Northern Malucca Sea.”

As per the data, the epicenter of the quake was about 72 km below ground.
