Elon Musk Becomes World’s Richest Man Again

Boca Chica (Texas): Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, and CEO of Tesla and Twitter has reclaimed his title as the world’s richest person. He replaced Louis Vuitton CEO, Bernard Arnault.

According to the estimates, after the markets closed on Monday, Elon Musk’s net worth was approximately $187.1 billion, surpassing Mr Arnault’s $185.3 billion fortune.

Recently, Elon Musk headed Twitter shut down two of its three offices in India. The staff of the closed-down offices were directed to work from home. This follows mass layoffs by Twitter in 2022.

Elon Musk has already fired 90 per cent of staff in India. Earlier it had around 200-plus staff in India. As per reports, Twitter India’s offices in Delhi and Mumbai have closed down. Twitter continues to maintain an office in Bengaluru.

Apart from India, Elon Musk has also closed down Twitter offices in several other countries. The recent decision of the billionaire CEO Elon Musk to close down Twitter offices in India indicates that for now, the Indian market is not on the priority list of Twitter and Musk.

Twitter has failed to pay millions of dollars in rent for its San Francisco and London offices. Twitter is facing numerous challenges related to financial stability, employee retention, and content regulation.
