Fake Placement Agency Busted in Cuttack; Proprietor Arrested

Cuttack: A fake placement agency operating in Pala Mandap area was busted by personnel of Badambadi police station on Wednesday. The proprietor of this fake recruitment firm, Binay Kumar Dash, was arrested. He is alleged to have duped job seekers of lakhs of rupees.

Advanced A2Z Solution Pvt Ltd was the name of the fake placement agency that was raided. This firm had allegedly duped hundreds of unemployed youths by collecting lakhs of rupees in the name of registration fees. The agency never fulfilled its promise to provide jobs to the persons who had paid registration fees to get jobs.

To lure job aspirants, this fake recruitment agency had put up huge billboard that read, “Dream is not what you see in sleep, dream is something that does not let you sleep.”

Three victims of this job fraud had filed complaints with the Badambadi police.

Police seized computers, fake placement/offer letters, and other documents from the premises of the agency for investigation. As per reports, this fake placement racket was continuing since past many months, reports said.
