Fire Breaks Out at Garments Shop at Choudhury Bazar in Cuttack

Cuttack: A massive fire broke out at a garments shop at Choudhury Bazar, Cuttack. Early Friday morning huge fire engulfed the showroom. Fortunately, there were no casualties as the shop was closed during the mishap.

As per reports, the fire broke out on the ground floor of the shop and later spread to the upper floors.

Fire Services personnel, on being informed, reached the place and initiated efforts to douse the flames.

“Though the fire has been brought under control, smoke emanating from the shop is causing problems for us to enter the building. We are trying to reduce the magnitude of smoke and douse flames on the upper floors,” a Fire Services officer said.

The reason behind the outbreak of fire was yet to be ascertained.
