Ganja Smuggling in Ambulance; Police Arrests 2 in Boudh

Boudh: Ganja smugglers trying to transport contraband in an ambulance were intercepted by personnel of Boudh police in Odisha on Tuesday night. Two persons involved in this marijuana smuggling in an ambulance were arrested. Around 94 Kg of ganja was seized from the ambulance.

Acting on intelligence reports, a police team had intercepted the said ambulance. It was transporting weed collected from Gochhapada in the Kandhamal district. The police team stopped the vehicle at Sindira. The two accused involved in this illegal transportation of narcotics were nabbed by police.

Around 94 Kg of ganja kept in three plastic bags was found in the ambulance. The arrested persons were Prashant Guru (21) of Ankun village under Manmunda police station and Kailash Singh (54) from Bargarh town. Kailash is the owner of the ambulance.
