Harassment Case Against Singer Sourin Bhatt: Odisha Police Team Leaves For Kolkata

Bhubaneswar: In the latest development in the case of harassment case against singer Sourin Bhatt, a team of the Twin City Commissionerate Police today left for Kolkata for further investigation into the case.

A woman in Cuttack has lodged a complaint of sexual harassment against the singer at the Cuttack Mahila police station.

The complainant is a female singer. She has alleged that Sourin Bhatt cheated and exploited her through false promises of marriage. She also added that Sourin Bhatt has extorted Rs 10 lakh from her.

Odisha police have registered a case against Sourin Bhatt under sections 376, 493, 341, 294, 417 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

But police have failed to contact the singer as his phone remains switched off since the day the complaint was lodged against him.
