Heatwave Update: Bhubaneswar Soars At 30.2°C At 5.30 AM; Humidity Stood At 92%

Bhubaneswar: Odisha continues to reel under extreme heat wave conditions. With no sign of monsoon rains anytime soon, the capital city Bhubaneswar recorded 30.2°C at 5.30 am on Friday. The humidity level stood at 92 per cent.

As per the regional office of the India Meteorological Department, the day temperature (maximum temperature) is likely to remain high till June 18 making increasing the discomfort. The IMD has predicted that the monsoon will reach Odisha after 3 days.

Meanwhile, the IMD issued a heat wave to severe heat wave alert for various districts of Odisha on Friday. People have been advised to refrain from stepping outside the house between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm unless unavoidable.
