Helicopter with 6 Onboard Goes Missing in Nepal

A helicopter with six persons onboard, including five foreign nationals and the pilot, went missing in Nepal on Tuesday. This chopper was on its way to Kathmandu from Solukhumbu.

This helicopter, with the call sign 9NMV, lost contact with the control tower at around 10:15 am. Captain Chet Gurung was the pilot of this chopper.

The helicopter was owned by Manang Air. It took off from Surki in Solukhumbu. After 15 minutes in flight, it lost contact with the control tower, reported The Kathmandu Post.

Efforts are on to locate the missing helicopter.
