Help Desks in All Medical College Hospitals in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: All government-managed medical colleges and hospitals in Odisha will have special help desks. Odisha Government’s health department issued guidelines regarding it to authorities of all government medical colleges in the state.

As per the guideline, a senior nursing officer would serve as ‘Swathya Sanjojak’ at these help desks. These help desks will streamline and facilitate better dissemination of updated information on the condition and treatment of patients to their family members.

‘Swasthya Sanjojak’ will act as a link between the hospital, the patient’s family, and the attendants. Through this help desk, up-to-date information about the health condition and treatment of the IPD patients will reach their family members.

No new appointments will be made for these help desks. The ‘Swasthya Sanjojak’ would be chosen from the existing manpower.
