Husband Cuts Wife’s Private Parts After She Fails To Get Pregnant

Lucknow (UP): A Lucknow man allegedly beat his wife and cut her private parts as punishment for her inability to conceive a child after years of marriage.

The accused has been identified as Ravindra. His wife was unable to conceive after six years of marriage, which had earlier caused problems in their relationship. The couple constantly quarrelled over the same matter, which led to the victim moving in with her mother and staying there for the previous eight months.

However, the accused persuaded his wife to come back home on December 25, after which he attempted to have unnatural sex with her. When he encountered resistance, he whacked her with a blade, cutting her private parts.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical care. The police have filed a complaint against the accused and begun an investigation in accordance with the pertinent sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
