Illegal Ganja Growers Attack and Injure 4 Cops in Malkangiri Dist

Malkangiri: At least four police personnel including two females were seriously injured when a group of persons involved in illegal ganja cultivation attacked them at Parajaguda village under Nakamagudi panchayat in Malkangiri district on Saturday.

According to sources, they were part of a police team that had reached Parajaguda area to destroy illegal marijuana plantations. But the mafia involved in illicit weed cultivation attacked the police team. Four police personnel, including two females were injured.

The injured police personnel were admitted to Kalimela Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment.
