IMD Issues Yellow Warning for 14 Dists of Odisha; Thunderstorms Likely in Next 24 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: The regional center of  Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning with a forecast of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms, and lightning for 14 districts during the next 24 hours.

“There will be no large change in the maximum temperature (Day temperature) during the next 4-5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha,” said IMD.

Thunderstorms with lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal during the next 24 hours.
