India vs Australia 1st Women’s T20 International Match Today

Mumbai: In Women’s cricket, the first T20 International of the five-match series between India and Australia will be played today. It will be played at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The match will start at 7 PM.

The second T20I will be played on Sunday at the same venue.

The remaining three matches will be played at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on the 14th, 17th and 20th of this month.

Alyssa Healy-led Australia will play a five-match T20I series against hosts India. The Women in Blue are being led by Harmanpreet Kaur.

Team India will include iconic players like Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Renuka Singh and Yastika Bhatia.

The series will be a good warm-up for both sides, ahead of next year’s Women’s T20 World Cup, set to be held in South Africa, in February 2023.
