KL Rahul Sent To London For Treatment, Unsure For 5th Test Against England

New Delhi: Team India’s star batter KL Rahul, who has missed the last three Test matches against England due to an injury may miss the final Test in Dharamsala, reported Cricbuzz. According to the report, Rahul has not recovered fully from the quadriceps injury he suffered in the first Test. The BCCI has sent him to London for an expert opinion.

Rahul was reportedly ’90 per cent’ cleared to play the third Test match but the team management and National Cricket Academy (NCA) decided to reassess the situation.

Rahul was named in the India squad for the final three Test matches with the condition that his availability will be dependent on his recovery.

India has already won the Test series with a 3-1 lead. So, the selectors may prefer to give Rahul more time to recover ahead of the T20 World Cup.
