Lathicharge to Control Crowd Gathered for Salman Khan’s Birthday

Mumbai: Mumbai police had to resort to lathicharge to control the crowd of fans gathered up in front of Salman Khan’s residence to wish him on his 57th birthday. The rush to have a glimpse of the cine-star had made the crowd unruly. So, police had to opt for lathicharge to maintain law and order in the area.

Hundreds of star-struck fans from different parts of India had come over to his Mumbai residence since Tuesday morning to give him birthday best wishes. Many had sweets, T-shirts, huge posters in hand.

When Salman Khan came out to his balcony to wave at the fans, the crowd was uncontrollable for the police. Adequate security arrangements had been around the house of Salman Khan for his birthday.

In an Instagram post, Salman shared a picture of this crowd of fans saying, “Thank you all…”
