Lightning Kills 3, Injures 4 in Mayurbhanj Dist

Mayurbhanj: Over three women were killed and four were injured in a lightning strike in Karanjia of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, one of the three women died on the spot, while the other two died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Reportedly, the three deceased women belong to the Ankura sahi of Karanjia NAC.

On being informed, police and local administration officers reached the spot and rushed all possible help to those affected by the lightning strike.
