Man Booked for Cat’s Murder in Maharashtra

Mumbai: An unidentified man was booked in Dombivali in Thane district for killing a cat, reported India Today. The accused is alleged to have thrown the cat from a second-floor flat.

This incident of cruelty against an animal took place took place at around 9:30 pm on Wednesday night in a housing society in Thakurli under the Tilaknagar police station.

A female social activist lodged a complaint with the police regarding this inhuman act. As per her complaint, a resident of the building threw the cat from a second-floor flat. The poor animal died on the spot. A case has been registered under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Police are trying to identify and nab the accused.
