Manish Sisodia Fails to Meet Ailing Wife as She was Shifted to Hospital Following Deteriorated Health

New Delhi: Jailed former Delhi deputy chief minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia, failed to meet his ailing wife Seema Sisodia at their house on Saturday as she was shifted to LNJP Hospital. Sisodia is now in judicial custody in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam case.

The Delhi High Court had granted permission to Sisodia to meet his wife from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday. But by the time Sisodia reached his residence, her condition had deteriorated and she was shifted to the LNJP Hospital.

According to sources, Sisodia reached his home at around 10 am. Abiding by the High Court’s directive, he did not speak to the media.  He went straight inside the house. But by that time Seema Sisodia was already taken to the LNJP hospital.

Citing his wife’s medical condition, Sisodia had moved an interim bail plea in both the CBI and ED cases. The ED and the CBI have both filed charge sheets against Sisodia in the Delhi excise policy case.
