Man’s Severed Body Found In Bhadrak’s Chandbali

Bhadrak: A severed body of a man was recovered near Gurudaspur railway station in Chandbali area of Bhadrak district.

The deceased has been identified as Umakant Barik of Biriadiya village under Khadalpokhari panchayat of the district.

According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the body and immediately informed the police about the same.

Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that some miscreants might have murdered him.

On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway in this regard.
