Married Priest Kills Girlfriend, Dumps Body in Manhole in Telangana

Hyderabad: A married priest named Ayyagari Sai Krishna was arrested on charges of killing his lover and dumping her body in a drain behind the Registrar’s office in Telangana’s Saroornagar.

To avoid suspicion, the killer priest filed a missing complaint, claiming that the missing woman was his niece and she was missing since May 3.

But police investigation and CCTV footage hinted that Sai Krishna was involved in the disappearance of this woman named Apsara. During interrogation, the priest confessed to having killed the missing woman. Sai Krishna was married with two children. But he was continuing an extra-marital affair with Apsara. When Apsara pressed for marriage, he murdered her in Shamshabad. He packed the body in a plastic cover and transported it to Saroornagar, where he dumped it into a manhole near the temple where he served as the priest.
