Mayurbhanj Constable Suspended For Alleged Involvement In Abduction Case

Baripada: A police constable named Anant Kumar Biswal was suspended from his job on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in a kidnapping case in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

Biswal was posted at Suliapada police station in the Mayurbhanj district. During the investigation related to an incident of kidnapping, the involvement of constable Biswal in the case came to the fore. In the past, this constable was also charged in a money laundering case and was arrested.

Acting on the findings related to Biswal, the Mayurbhanj police suspended the constable Biswal through an official notification.
